Camden Hildy is a Chicago-based film editor who has been creating videos since 2012.  He graduated from DePaul University in 2024 with a BFA in Film and Television with a special concentration in Editing. Until his undergraduate education, Camden was entirely self-taught. He started making videos at home with his two younger brothers and fell in love with the entire process of film production. 

 

Camden has a vast array of skills when it comes to post-production. Not only does this include video editing but also color correcting, color grading, sound design, animation VFX, and title graphics design. He also has experience in documentary editing and experimental editing workflows.

While mainly specializing in video editing and post-production, Camden has years of experience in cinematography, photography, directing, and drone cinematography. He also has experience working with physical celluloid film. Aside from editing, Camden has been playing the trumpet since fourth grade and continues to play small gigs around Chicago. 

 

He also loves the movie Chef, urbex, and dreams of owning a capybara someday.
